Empathy starts with understanding.
RaisingVoicesUSA promotes understanding and empathy through our shared values of justice, respect, and compassion. We believe that we can counter xenophobia and nationalism by inclusivity and the appreciation of cross-cultural diversity. It is our aim to represent viewpoints from all walks of life and to address, through a variety of programming, issues of racism, sexism, ableism, ageism and discrimination on the basis of religion, national origin and sexual orientation.
