Who We Are

RaisingVoicesUSA is a nonprofit organization incorporated in New York whose mission is to educate the public and empower them to engage in informed civic discourse.

What We’re Doing

Since our beginnings in November 2016, we’ve worked to provide meaningful and informed pathways to action for anyone who wants to raise their voices, be heard, and make a difference. Thanks to our members, we’ve been able to achieve remarkable things, with highlights including:

• panel discussions and guest speakers on healthcare, immigration, local elections, women’s rights, black and Latino issues, and the environment
• vigils with concerned community members and local leaders against hate and in support and remembrance of students of Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School
• postcard parties and Evenings of Advocacy for healthcare, immigration, gun violence prevention, the environment and women’s rights, and LGBTQI equality resulting in over 3,000 postcards mailed or delivered to elected officials and community leaders and influencers
• weekly emails to our subscribers with information on pertinent issues and suggestions on how to raise their voices
